I realized why this mattered a little earlier tonight - it was closure.
Closure for 9/11, and the ongoing conflicts that have strained our military and our budget.
Closure of the annoyance that one man could do this to a country, and live out his days.
And I'm glad for that closure; hopefully we'll be able to draw down our investments, to some extent: we need to get our fiscal house in order.
