So given that this post is on the internet, and there are possibly creepers out there, names shan't be mentioned, but you know who you are:
I have known some of the absolutely most amazing and fantabulous people here. Many of them are close friends, many aren't, but they knock my socks off each and every day.
There's PN, who managed stunning academic success while providing extraordinarily capable student leadership to the student body. I once spent 4 hours in a room with him essentially designing a Constitution, and actually enjoyed it.
There's MR, who manages to be nigh magnetic with charm, grace, and wit, and whose interest in engaging the world through artistic endeavors far surpasses anyone else I've met.
There're BB, KB, and MD, whose endeavors and abilities in dance surprise and touch me with each performance, and whose kindness and spirit lighten every day I see them. One of them owes me cookies too, and another has given me cookies she baked herself at least 5 times. :D
There's WH, who is good, honest, and excited about the world and esoteric (at least to me) topics. He once stole the show with nothing but a single appendage, and has many secret abilities to boot.
There's RP, whose jazzy skills on the keyboard blew me away the first night we met and played together, and whose efforts have improved many a concert or meet and greet. I'm listening to R at this very moment. There's AJ, who can sing a song like no one else, though EK on the piano was plain old amazing as well. WS is already making waves as a freshman, and another WS is going to make waves next year doing something else.
Follow across the jump for many, many more.
There's NA, who manages to be a mathematical GENIUS, an endearing mind, and a solid co-worker wrapped up together. I value every moment we work together.
There's MM and MM; I respect, admire, and am fans of both, and I think all three of us compliment each other, though I don't know if MM and MM know each other. There's both on my list to know better. Same with NN.
There's CB, who and has written some lovely and illuminating blog entries, and who manages to be both pensive and outgoing simultaneously. Wish I could do that.
There's CN and NF, who I honestly though I wouldn't be able to be friends with until I spoke to them. They are both some of the most giving and authentic students here, and I'm glad to know them. There's EY and II, who are two of the most capable leaders I know. SH is a hero.
There's MK, whose spirit makes me a better person, and whose efforts inspire me to push just as hard in my chosen areas of reform.
There's MA, with whom I've run down mountains, figuratively. There's JW, with whom I run down mountains. Literally. :D
There's JL, who is one of the kindest and sweetest people I know; hugely giving, thoughtful, and deep. I wish I knew J better. EB is another one of those people; he can't hide how nice he actually is, no matter how hard he tries.
There's AF, CH, EB, AM, TT, KD, JC, SB, and AB who transcend supposed barriers and boundaries with grace, confidence, and a strength I'm still grasping. I learn so much from these people.
There's EF, who is EF, and that's all I need EF to be, because EF is gorn-darned special, talented, and so self-aware I can feel it. MS and SM are darn special too, and I wish them success in their work.
There's AM (different than above), my first friend here, and of self-certain confidence and interest. The number of areas of strength for this person put my abilities in music and leadership to shame.
There's AA, who gave me one of the best compliments I've ever received (the best will be impossible to beat,) and whose interests in making something new and positive inspire my own often unfulfilled projects. SM, I don't even know what to say except WH (the place). Yeah, WH.
There's ES and ES, with whom I share friendship and music, and who I both envy for VERY different reasons. RK is great as well, and knows both of them, though I met her in a different context.
There's AD, whose light and spirit shine upon the world as does a star. I think we've had 2 conversations ever. GR is the same way, though I know her a little better. TT and WP are going to rule the world with very different styles, but the same inspiring figure.
There's BE, who I'm only beginning to know, but looking forwards to knowing much better. There's BN, who is the same as BE in strength and hope, but so friendly I wonder if we'll ever speak in more than passing. HD is just great, period. She showed me a marvelous secret one time. :)
There's CG and ES, whose patience with moi is a testament to their characters, CD, who knows me in a way no one else in our grade can (your mind, get it out of the gutter...), and CS, who is just plain old awesome at everything. KD and LC know me in some combination of the above, and both of them calm my nights and inspire my days.
There're the keen minds of ZJ, DP, RM, LB, SH, TC, DM, LF, MB, NS, PD, TM, who I hope to match for intellectual firepower and ability, espeically in the theatrical departments.
I wander how many people I forgot? (And this is what happens at a small school: I promise that most of these people know each other.)
